Coffee Morning a great success!!

Were you in town on Saturday 20th of March and did you pop into the Town Hall for a coffee and meet the Cadets, Officer and Adult Instructors of Morpeth Detachment of Northumbria Amy Cadet Force?

Second Lieutenant Watson, the Detachment Commander, had the idea to set up his stall in the town hall to show the residents of Morpeth what his cadets did and could do.

Mrs E Hogg MBE, the civilian assistant at the detachment, got to work with her friends to produce a wonderful selection of cakes to be sold along with the coffee.

As a result of the event, Gordon was pleased to announce that they had raised a fantastic £ 280 which would be used to help cadets take part in activities such as the up and coming ski-ing trip
